We are the Pickel Family. Jeremy, Angie, Carson, Avery and Eden. We moved to the ‘other side of the world’ from Winnipeg, Canada July 2013 to begin our new adventure of serving in overseas ministry at Haven of Peace Academy in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Jeremy is teaching Geography at the Secondary level while Carson and Avery attend as students at the Primary level. We dreamed about this for many years prior to coming over and are so excited and grateful to be here learning new things about God’s grace everyday. Karibuni to our blog. Just wanted to send you a quick note that we have met your Swazi girl…she is the older sister of our Special friend! We told her you we’re now living in Africa and very much wanted us to send her a big hug! Hope that was okay to say.
Hope the Lord is working powerfully in your lives and ministry…we were in Navi Valley Refugee camp in Uganda/Tanzania border in Nov/Dec. Not that, that means anything but now we can say we were at least close to Tanzania…lol.
